Located on the very beautiful square Notre-Dame, in the heart of Semur-en-Auxois, in a near medieval environment, the La Parenthèse restaurant offers a modern space where lunch. The room, which can accommodate seats, has been meticulously decorated carefully. Between warm round tables and comfortable benches, you have the embarrassment of choosing to install. On the map, the Bourguignon menu presents all the classic classics: the famous veined ham, a cute pork and cheese sauce, snails, meurette eggs… If you don't know the regional gastronomy, you won't be disappointed. As a matter of fact, meat and poultry are the subject of a long preparation and a very nice presentation. Even fish have their place, depending on the arrivals, the choice will be different. Children are especially mollycoddled with a real cooked menu. With regard to the wines, white and red from Burgundy, it will meet your expectations…

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce restaurant où nous avons pu très bien manger et, en plus, avec des délicieuses options végan / végétariennes ! Service accueillant et timing parfait. Pas trop d’attente ni trop rapide. Nous reviendrons !
Lors de notre commande nous sommes surpris d entendre qu'il ne reste 1 seule entrée sur 3, plus de poisson en plat principal et pour finir que 2 dessert sur 3...
Et la cerise sur le gâteau le restaurant n a que 2 tables de 2 à servir donc nous étions loin d etre au complet.
Je compatis que le serveur est jeune surement et je l expere 1ère experience mais dans cette profession il faut montrer plus de conviction.
Mauvais choix de restaurant pour nous.
