Located in a very quiet area, in the heart of the medieval city, the hotel des Cymaises is a particularly interesting stopover for travellers looking for peace and quiet. A former bourgeois house of the th and th centuries, this establishment was taken over by Roger Ufr, the boss of two restaurants in Semur: the Entr'act and the Parenthesis. The hotel has 18 rooms. Some are attic with apparent structure, all are very well kept. Decorated with simplicity, they offer all modern comforts (bath or shower, TV, wifi, etc.) and are especially quiet. Renovation work will take place in the fall of 2014. But in the meantime, there is a real pleasure in staying in peace. The large lounge with a magnificent fireplace calls for relaxation. Breakfast takes place under the veranda with view of the courtyard, in winter and on the terrace, in summer. Although in the city centre, the hotel has a large courtyard where you can park easily and a very cute garden. You will have understood it: Don't hesitate to hire yourself in the small streets showing the Cymaises!

A fréquenter uniquement par température tempérée.
Pas de chauffage sous un temps de pluie avec une température extérieure maxi de 12 degrés, c'est rude, trop pour moi...

Bon accueil, Personnel très agréable. Petit déjeuner copieux servi dans la véranda, au top !
Notre chambre, au 1er étage, pour 2 nuits, était spacieuse, très bien meublée et décorée, récemment refaite. La salle de bain moderne et bien aménagée, avec toilettes séparées.
Escalier et couloir un peu vétustes, mais propres.
