BAU ARCHITECTES
Since 1964, the Bureau d'architecture et d'urbanisme (BAU) has been mobilizing its know-how to innovate in the design of architectural projects that reflect changes in society. With its architects, economists, site managers/OPCs, designers and collaborators, the agency has designed and built numerous public buildings (schools, leisure centers, gymnasiums, swimming pools, hospitals) as well as social and private housing and commercial buildings. Rethinking the city is one of the agency's major concerns, as is building the city on itself to prevent sprawl and protect rurality and ecosystems. BAU Architectes develops social and environmental solutions in consultation with its clients, enabling the creation of projects that are closer to citizens' expectations and better designed to operate sustainably.
