Not far from the Dampoort crossroads, this small Belgian restaurant par excellence serves mainly Flemish, but also Walloon dishes. It owes its appeal to its warm, family atmosphere and charismatic, welcoming owner. The chicory au gratin is a delight, as are the famous carbonnades and other grandmotherly dishes prepared here, as everything is homemade, to the delight of regulars. A classic in the neighborhood, so be sure to make a reservation, as there's little room in the small dining room or on the terrace.
