Flanders' most famous and best-known film festival, not to be missed!

Every October since 1974, the festival has presented some 80 feature films and 50 shorts from around the world, attracting over 130,000 spectators. In parallel, the festival organizes film music concerts, inviting prestigious guests such as the famous western music composer Ennio Morricone(Once Upon a Time in the West, Django Unchained), who died in 2020. In 2024, fifteen films questioned the notion of democracy in the United States. Prizes are awarded not only for the best films, but also for the best soundtracks.
