UGENT VOLKSSTERRENWACHT ARMAND PIEN - OBSERVATOIRE PUBLIC ARMAND PIEN
In the heart of the city of Ghent, at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, this observatory is worth the trip for its evenings of observation through a prestigious and magnificent 228 mm diameter astronomical telescope, under a dome, dating from 1880! In addition to these observations (as always directly dependent on weather conditions), it is possible to take advantage of other infrastructures, 3D shows, interactive consoles, for trips through space from the Kepler hall. To do this, reservations are not mandatory. It is also an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful view of the city from the terrace where the observatory's weather station is located.
