The Van Eyck swimming pool is the oldest indoor swimming pool in Belgium that is still standing, but it is also the most recent in terms of its infrastructure, having undergone a complete restoration in 2001. A splendid Art Deco monument, the pool is more beautiful than ever. In addition, the swimming pool retains its original function as a public bathing establishment: the inhabitants of the small surrounding area can still bathe there. From the lounge bar Au Bain on the first floor there is an interesting view of the pool and the marina.
