Small beguinage in Ghent, a Unesco World Heritage Site, with a baroque church
Continuing along Zuidstationstraat, you'll come to St. Anne's Church Square. Turn right into Lange Violettenstraat, and you'll reach the little beguinage, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Founded in the 13th century, it has remained unchanged since the 17th. Here you can see the Baroque church and, weather permitting, stretch out on the grass of the central lawn, surrounded by the walls behind which the beguines' houses were built.
