PATERSHOL LANES
Narrow streets lined with quaint houses in a fashionable neighborhood with restaurants, cafes and stores.
These narrow streets lined with picturesque houses were designed in the Middle Ages. If the weavers used to live on these cobblestones, over the centuries, especially in the 17th and 18th centuries, the bourgeois invested the place, before abandoning it. Not so long ago, the Patershol had become an uninviting district: brothels, ill-famed bars... But, thanks to a plan of revalorization of the city, one can wander there in all peace. It has even become a fashionable district, with its restaurants, cafés and stores.
