MOU MUSEUM OUDENAARDE
Flamboyant gothic museum in Oudenaarde exhibiting a collection of Flemish tapestries of international fame.
The museum is housed in one of Belgium's finest town halls, built in the 14th century in the flamboyant Gothic style. Its cloth hall houses a collection of internationally renowned Flemish tapestries, made here between the 15th and 18th centuries, and a collection of silverware. From September 2024, an exhibition dedicated to Marguerite de Parme (1522-1586), Charles V's first child, brings together portraits and unique objects linked to court culture to reveal her role as a patron and collector of Flemish tapestries.
