SAINT SULPICE CHURCH
A large church in Demerian Gothic, with a dark silhouette, whose local brown sandstone, raised with white stone
Set to one side, the large Demerian Gothic church is unfinished but emblematic of the region, with its dark silhouette of local brown sandstone set off by white stone. Its Baroque turret with its 45-bell carillon is known as the Mosterdpot (mustard pot). Inside, pay close attention to the carved motifs on the 15th-century wooden choir stalls, which illustrate the seven deadly sins and a number of proverbs.
Inside, you'll find the Museum of Religious Arts, open Tuesday to Sunday.
