OOSTKERKE MILL
The brick corn mill of Oostkerke, a protected monument in perfect condition, consists of four floors, with a cap.
The brick mill of Oostkerke is situated on a rampart. In its place, in the 14th century, stood a wooden pivot mill that belonged to the lords of Oostkerke. Unfortunately, a violent fire destroyed it in 1874. In the same year a stone mill with a revolving cap was built. It was restored in 1970 and again in 1988. The mill consists of four floors, including a cap, a millstone attic, a millstone attic and a ground floor. This protected monument is today in perfect condition.
