KEMMEL COMMAND BUNKER
Bunker of the Kemmel Command classified among the sites dedicated to the First World War, and belonging to the Cold War
Among the many memorial sites dedicated to the First World War is the Kemmel Command Bunker, which belongs to the Cold War era. It was built but never used, because there was no fighting! Visitors are immersed in an extraordinary, almost unusual environment, and the small €1 guidebook sold at the tourist office (in French) proves very useful for understanding the functions of each room. Length of visit: 1h to 1h30.
