Opened in early 2022, Klei has quickly made a name for itself in Ypres! Klei means "clay", a material easily found in the region, and the restaurant has already established itself as one of the Westhoek's finest restaurants. Located on the Grote Markt and run by two experienced men, Jonathan Devogel (the chef) and Carl Couvreur (the maître de maison), Klei offers refined cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. How about squab with plums, peppers and geranium? Or beef tartare with mussels, egg yolk and basil?
