Proud of its industrial history, the town of Izegem has converted the former Éperon d'Or shoe factory into a cultural centre, tourist centre and museum. The collections of the Shoe and Brush museums are now housed in one place. The museum shows the evolution of shoe and brush making, from the beginnings of the craft to the advent of modern techniques, but which require real human dexterity. A visit as playful as it is surprising.
