Located along the road connecting the large village of Jabbeke in Bruges, the house inhabited during its last years by Constant Permeke (1868-1952) became the museum of the painter. An illustrator of endless skies, creator of imposing silhouettes, a faille sculptor, he is required as a reference figure for Flemish expressionism in the half-wars. The museum mainly contains elements related to the artist's life, as well as some paintings, one, unfinished, throne on the bridge.
