Museum installed in a beautiful neo-Gothic school and adjacent buildings, with spaces telling stories of the past.

Housed in a neo-Gothic building that was once a school, as well as in ancillary buildings, this museum has reopened after a two-year renovation. It is dedicated to the history of Knokke and its seaside tourism. Unusual objects, films and immersive experiences illustrate the life and atmosphere of the seaside town, past and present. From the splendor of the Belle Époque hotels to the activity of the fishermen, from the casino in the 1960s to the carnival, stories, images and anecdotes tell how Knokke became so popular.
