FOR FREEDOM MUSEUM
The For Freedom museum, which tells the story of the last years of the Second World War in the Knokke-Heist area
The For Freedom museum is housed in the restored Ramskapelle school. It tells the story of the final years of the Second World War in the region. More specifically, the liberation of the village by our Canadian allies. The setting is brought to life in gigantic, realistic dioramas in which people, vehicles and equipment tell the real story of the war. Most of the exhibits belong to private collections. A fitting tribute to those who fell to liberate the Belgians.
