House of the Dunes in modernist style with a roof terrace, becoming a leisure center and a starting point for walks

The Maison des Dunes was built on the order of the Sisters of Notre-Dame-de-Boulogne in the middle of the Schipgat dunes in a modernist style, characteristic of the 1930s and was used as a sanatorium for children. Playing volume, a platform roof with tiles at the edge and the eaves of the concrete entrance. Roof terrace, from where children could enjoy the benefits of the sea air. Next to the building is a chapel. Today it is a leisure centre for sea classes and the starting point for walks in the dunes.
