Atmosphere somewhere between Flemish-style brown coffee and vintage, with 1980s chandeliers, bits of baffles embedded in the counter and an old TV, Gainsbar is the kind of drinking establishment you easily fall in love with. The beer list is extensive, with a dozen or so sparkling beers available on tap, many of them local. The upstairs room, meanwhile, has a more "salon" and intimate feel. The great Serge would have approved. Ladies, be sure to use the restroom, where a surprise awaits you. We'll say no more.
