A municipal museum T Schnippershof in Menin, presenting art objects and historical subjects such as the manufacture of linen
Renovated in 2024 and integrated into the De Steiger Cultural Center, the municipal museum T Schippershof - cour des Bateliers - dates back to the end of the 17th century and is of great historical value, the last witness to Menin's economic boom. Local history is explored through a collection of objects and themes such as linen manufacture, fortifications, customs and borders... The museum also exhibits works by Georges Dobbels, Yvonne Serruys and Johan Tahon. The café serves the excellent and unique beer from Menin: Ne Goen (pronounced néroune).
