The Chenal du Port, extends over a few kilometers, with a ferry service, an ideal place for walking and cycling.
The channel between the marina and the sea is about 2 kilometers long, and thanks to a ferry service you can cross it daily. On the right side of the channel is the nature reserve with the dunes of the former naval base of Lombardsijde, a unique place for walking and cycling. On the left bank there are a few technical facilities such as a careening area for fishing boats, repair sheds and piers. A very pleasant place to walk around with the family and take in the fresh sea air.

Les piétons ont une promenade séparée des vélos. On peut aller boire un verre et manger à l'entrée du port de plaisance. On peut prendre une navette-bateau pour passer de l'autre côté du chenal (vers Lombarzijde) en emportant son vélo. Il y a un très joli phare rouge et blanc.
