The escapade constituting of an attraction are a lantern and a foghorn in what resembles lighthouses in miniature
The West Boom, built in 1865, is 490 metres long, while the East Boom, which dates from the same year, is 543 metres long and plunges into the sea. At the end of the booms are a lantern and foghorn in what look like miniature lighthouses. Destroyed during the wars, they were rebuilt. They are a great attraction and a stopover for tourists and are ideal for a breath of fresh air. Angling or square fishing is a very popular occupation.
