TOWN HOTEL
Neo-Renaissance style town hall with a rich collection of artworks, watercolors, and sculptures...
The neo-Flemish Renaissance town hall dates from 1922. The first floor houses the tourist office. The building contains a rich collection of works of art, including etchings, drawings, watercolors, paintings and sculptures. Above the basket-arched doorway, you can see the town's ancient coat of arms, depicting a farmer ploughing and a fisherman with an anchor, both surmounted by the town's Latin name: Novus Portus. Unfortunately, you can't visit it.
