Largest marina north of Nieuwpoort with various yacht clubs
What would such a beautiful picturesque town be without its marina to welcome tourists and budding sailors? The Nieuwpoort mooring is the largest in Northern Europe: the Eurojachthaven with up to 2,000 moorings. The most imposing construction is undoubtedly that of Portus Novus, which is directly connected to the port channel. There are various water sports clubs in the port: the Flemish Water Sports Association of Nieuwpoort, the Air Force Water Sports Circle and the Royal Yacht Club.
