This museum takes you back to the world of fishing, which is very popular on the Flemish coast. Through a collection of realistic settings, works of art and illustrations, you'll discover, in an interactive way, the fishing of yesteryear and related anecdotes, as well as fishing as it is practiced today in Flanders. The OD.1 Martha inshore fishing boat, a veritable compass, is installed at the heart of the building and will serve as an anchor point throughout your visit. A new wing houses the skeleton of Valentin the sperm whale.
