PRINS CHARLES MEMORIAL
Prins Charles Memorial with objects that belonged to the prince, with a pavilion, a modest basket maker's house.
It was at the end of the Second World War that Prince Charles (1903 - 1983) became a régent of Belgium for six years, from 1944 to 1950. At the return of King Leopold III in 1950, he withdrew from Raversijde until his death in 1983, in a modest fisherman's house that today perpetuated his memory. There are many objects that belonged to the prince. The Prince Pavilion, a modest trio of 1865 basket that was used by the prince, was renovated as then. Villa Goffinet (Baron Goffinet was a friend of the Prince) now hosts temporary exhibitions.
