SHIN KAI TEI JAPANESE GARDEN
Garden of walk in a haven of peace, with different landscapes, sheltering a beautiful pond in the shape of a turtle
The garden symbolizes the link between Ostend and Japan. This link has existed since 1973 with the establishment of the company Daikin. Shin means 'deep, lucid, erudite'. Kai refers to the sea, to the ocean. Finally, Tei can be translated as "garden, sanctuary". Shin Kai Tei is a garden for walking: while strolling through it, one can discover different landscapes. It is also a place of calm, peace, contemplation and meditation. The magnificent turtle-shaped pond is located in the heart of the park.
