The Marie-Henriette Park, situated in a very urbanized environment, preserves a historical-cultural heritage in Ostend.

Situated in a highly urbanized environment, the park is Ostend's green lung. Conceived at the end of the 19th century, at the instigation of King Leopold II, this 37-hectare expanse has undergone thorough renovation, while retaining its historical-cultural heritage. It is surrounded by a wooded embankment, the konijnenvijver. Inside, a recreation area offers water sports and sunbathing by the water's edge. In the "Spiegelmeer", four circular clearings with numerous perennials provide a playground for children.
