This verdant cemetery is home to a number of important historical figures, including writer and poet Albrecht Rodenbach and painter and engraver Alfons Blomme. There are also some particularly moving military graves from the two world wars. Some of the funeral chapels are particularly impressive. The place is particularly remarkable in autumn. A landscaped cemetery worthy of a visit in the spirit of remembrance, culture and rest.
