TOWN HOTEL
The old city hall, one of the jewels of the city's architecture, with a gallery of painted portraits of the mayors.
The old Town Hall is without doubt one of the jewels of the town's architecture. In the Louis XV style, this residence is a successful example of 18th century architecture. The interior is well worth a visit. Look at the gallery of painted portraits of the mayors of Roeselare from 1830 to the present day. Continue on to the renovated council chamber, which has been restored to the splendour of the Louis XV style. Also worth seeing is an ivory Christ by the author of the Manneken Pis and many other treasures to discover.
