MULLE HOUSE OF TERSCHUEREN
An imposing neoclassical house located in Tielt, with a remarkable park, church and monastery.
In 1824, the Tieltois nobleman Emile-Paul Mulle de Terschueren had his native Ghent house rebuilt in the Ieperstraat at numbers 44 to 48. In 1986, the entire restored estate was classified for its historical and socio-cultural value. The imposing neoclassical house (1820), the park, the church and the monastery are still remarkable. The picturesque garden has become a public park. It is also an ideal starting point for exploring the region by bicycle.
