ST. PETER'S CHURCH
Church with an octagonal bell tower, a neo-Gothic communion table, an organ, and a painting representing Saint Sebastian.
The present neo-romantic church with the octagonal bell tower dates from 1953-1955. Here you will find several treasures: a neo-Gothic communion table by G. Verlinde from 1924, an organ by P. Aneenssens from Menin from 1972, a 17th century painting of St. Sebastian, a processional cross probably from 1499, a neo-Gothic reliquary of Charles I of Flanders from 1890, a marble memorial plaque of the Moke family. The remarkable stained glass windows by J. Hendrick, M. Martens and J. Slagmuylder should not be overlooked.
