This splendid church has a sturdy square tower and houses the oldest bell of Veurne, belonging to the carillon.
The splendid church rebuilt in the xve century has a robust square tower dating back to the xiiith and XIV centuries that impresses with its dungeon looks. The tower of the church, 48 meters tall, houses the oldest bell of Furnes (1379), called «t Bomtje», which belongs to the current carillon. The attentive visitor can recognize the Hymn to Joy when the Carillon rings the hours. This originality makes it one of the city's main attractions. Inside the church, also stop in front of the sixteenth century triptych of Jan van Amstel. An impressive monument to visit.
