You can't notice the large th century building when you arrive in Vonges by the road of Dijon. Louis XIV installed in this small village a royal snow diver in 1691. Founded in 1905, Nationalized has been a SNPE group since the 1930 s. The factory lived in the region until the 1960 s and is now the only company in France to manufacture black powder for military and civilian use (for example, fireworks). The snow does not visit but by going to Lamarche-sur-Saône, you can see that it stretches over kilometres, along the Saône.
