MARTINS WEST
A trendy sign in downtown Redwood City that gives in "Gastro-Pub". Opened by Michael and Moira Beveridge Dotson, this beautiful ceiling establishment, all brick and vintage furniture, sifted light has several spaces to meet at the counter, in small lounges, around high tables… In the evening it's a great place to stay! And even a lot of noise, discussions and laughter together, which makes a conversation difficult… But the plates and the kindness of the service largely offset this. The chef works locally and all suppliers are listed at the end of the menu. The idea is to cook with agricultural or sea products in a sustainable development process. The dishes are all more tasty than any other. So, to start a few fresh oysters, then displayed in a dish of the day, this delicious farmer chicken accompanied with gnocchis, chanterelles and blue cheese… Do not deprive you of dessert: cheesecake or this traditional, caloric and divine, gingerbread/ice/hot chocolate and caramel… Let's add that cocktails, wine and beer attract many connoisseurs… Hence the atmosphere! A real stroke of heart for this very nice pub.
