This site is a real enchantment! You feel like you get to heaven. Ratna Ling is a Buddhist retreat located in the middle of dozens of hectares of wild forests, far from all urbanity, offering the rental of very comfortable and beautiful chalets, with two large bedrooms, a huge living room, a bathroom with a whirlpool, a terrace, wooden and wood. You're surrounded by redwood, you cross biches, racoons, and even black-footed, you're watching beautiful birds. In calm and in the right air, a ressourçante atmosphere is added. You eat in the common house, in a calm and joyful atmosphere at a time, on the terrace or in a large, warm room, fresh food, varied and absolutely delicious (vegetarian however). Ratna Ling also houses the largest publishing house of Buddhist books in Tibetan. Each year a cargo loaded with sacred works for Calcutta, which are distributed during the great World Peace Ceremony, which gathers Buddhists from the Tibetan lineage from all over Asia and elsewhere.

Ratna Ling is an NGO founded in Berkeley in the 1970 s following the arrival in California of Tarthang Tulku, Spiritual Master and Sanskrit Teacher. Tarthang Tulku is also the founder of the Tibetan Méditation Meditation Centre at Berkeley. Ratna Ling is committed to developing peace and supporting Tibet. Its pension centre, open to all, is not only a haven of peace but also an ideal base for enjoying the Sonoma Bay and discovering the natural parks of this portion of the north coast. An unbeatable price ratio on this area. Most: Tibetan yoga stays are regularly scheduled.

This place is magical. This can be whatever you need. There is meditation, yoga or nothing at all... I would highly recomend this place.

I attended the yoga meditation retreat from Friday March 22nd to Sunday March 24th. The yoga & meditation under the direction of Dariece Warren was wonderful. She is so intuitive as to the needs of the people attending. The cabin was lovely & welcoming, the Redwood forest healing & the food incredibly delicious. There was time for quiet alone time if needed but also met some incredibly nice people. Thank you for the much needed experience.

Ratna Ling is a refuge from the world; it is beautiful and peaceful. Each time I visit, I can feel myself letting go of worries and fatigue as I drive up the coast towards it. Then I arrive, to rest and then return to the world, restored. ????

Ratna Ling was a stunning retreat center and the cottages were excellent -- spacious, comfortable, clean, modern, and tons of windows and beautiful views. It was a really special and peaceful place to practice and relax. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, the food was okay to me. It felt a bit repetitive (pretty much the same breakfast each day but the last, same salad bar, potatoes, yummy homemade bread, among other things that had more variety). Some food was tasty, other food was bland and required a lot of salt to give it some taste. But I didn't come here for the food, so that's okay. All in all, I highly recommend Ratna Ling.
