BISCUITERIE GROBOST
Eugène Grobost, chef at the Carlton, is known as the inventor of the sponge cake. The recipe, born in 1902, has remained in the same family, and the cookie factory moved to the Nivernais region in 1991. Since then, Valérie and Frédéric Grobost, his great-grandchildren, have carried on the tradition, even if the traditional recipe has obviously adapted to modern manufacturing processes. Nevertheless, the cookies have retained their inimitable flavor and softness. During your visit, you'll even be able to watch a film dedicated to their manufacture.
