In the village centre, this large manor house (solar in Portuguese), built in granite and dating from the th century, originates in the village of Juncais; throughout his history she maintained herself in the same family. Today it is a guest house where warm welcome is made by one of the family members. The cosy and refined atmosphere of the whole house recalls the past of the places and two inner patios, where you can enjoy the tranquillity of the corner, give it a special charm. Two suites are located in the residence itself and 6 less rustic apartments outside the hotel. Central heating and fireplaces offer a more comfortable atmosphere on the winter days or in a fresh weather, the old kitchen is available to guests. There are various outdoor activities in this region where gastronomy is of prime importance, 13 km from other Linhares, one of the medieval historic villages of Serra da Estrela. The ideal place to enjoy the tranquillity of the region and discover its rich past and customs.
