The Jacques de La Comble Natural History Museum houses over 800,000 samples representing specimens from all areas of the natural sciences, including birds, eggs and nests, as well as 300,000 herbarium plates, insects, shells, minerals and Carboniferous fossils. After some refurbishment, it also houses some thirty masterpieces from the Musée Rolin, which is currently undergoing renovation and expansion until 2027.
