HOUSE OF COFFEE
The House of Coffee opened its doors in April 2009. Designed to become the main restaurant in the cultural center, the building is actually a set of three ancient Bahrain houses combined in a vast contemporary space. The exterior façade has been left as it is, so as not to disturb the charm of the old streets of old Muharraq, but once inside the contrast is striking. Everything has been completely transformed and renovated. Contemporary art works decorate the place, light wells give a feeling of calm and serenity. It is not just a coffee, it is an essential component of the Bahraini cultural life. Furthermore, the restaurant menu is worth a visit. Coffee is part of the Bahrain daily and is generally one of the first brands of hospitality. Simply serving a cup of arabica is actually a real rite. The House of Coffee is therefore ideal for refreshing and eating a piece on your thumb before continuing the visit of Muharraq.
