Mine museum presenting the living conditions of miners and the evolution of mining techniques.

Immerse yourself in the history of the blackface miners at the Musée de la Mine de Blanzy. Discover the world and living conditions of the miners, and feel the special atmosphere as you explore some 200 meters of equipped galleries. Take a trip back in time and discover the evolution of coal mining techniques. Volunteers from the association that runs the museum invite you to spend around two hours immersed in the heart of this living museum. Family workshops are organized during the school vacations.

Closed from October to April. Low season: open weekends and public holidays from 2pm to 7pm. High season: Wednesday to Monday, 2pm to 7pm. High season in July and August. Visite guidée par un homme d'une très grande richesse culturelle qu'il partage volontiers et sans limites avec nous. Un lieu complet et immersif pour imaginer le difficile quotidien des mineurs. De très belles pièces d'exposition.
