An 80-hectare estate in the heart of the village of Bouzeron, with an attractive tasting cellar and tours.
Situated in the heart of the village of Bouzeron, Domaine Chanzy offers ideal reception conditions, with a vast inner courtyard for parking, a beautiful tasting cellar and visits to the cellars or vineyards in season. Domaine Chanzy covers 61 hectares of the most beautiful slopes in Southern Burgundy, particularly the Côte Chalonnaise and Côte de Beaune. Respect for the environment means preserving a generous, living land, and working it with care for its biodiversity and ecosystem throughout the seasons. The wine list features 40 red and white appellations, including 11 Grands Crus and 13 Premiers Crus. Mercurey Clos du Roy and Les Caraby, Santenay Les Gravières or Beaurepaire, Chambolle Musigny Aux Échanges, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Échezeaux, Chapelle Bertin, Griottes Chambertin among others. One of Chanzy's flagships is Clos de la Fortune Monopole, a magnificent promotion for the aligoté grape variety that produces the Bouzeron appellation, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2019. A Bouzeron matured on a parcel-by-parcel basis, respecting the climates of each parcel, and awaiting the recognition of its first 1er crus!

They were very welcoming and Julie who took us through the tasting was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their wines and the region.
The wines were excellent and I would highly recommend putting this domain on the list to visit.
