Located between Louhans and Cuiseaux, in one of the old outbuildings of an eighteenth century farmhouse, La Ferme de Marie-Eugénie focuses deeply on the rural and the natural paradise. This small house in the meadow was restored with elegance in respect of basic architecture: wooden beams and stone walls. Particular care has been taken for the flourishing and vegetation that nicely decorates the place, without forgetting the pond nearby. Scenery and calm guaranteed in this large farmhouse which welcomes its guests in four very neat rooms. The decoration is simple and cleverly matches antique furniture and contemporary furnishings. The bright and clear colours were privileged to better collect the light. An elegant dining room allows for a rich breakfast made of fruit. The hostess cooks herself while being provided with fresh produce from the Châteaurenaud market, and has a pleasure to discover the products of the region through fresh and authentic dishes that combine, among others, Bresse poultry and cheeses.
