APOTHICAIRERIE DE L’HOPITAL
Apothecary's shop classified as a historical monument, housing a beautiful collection of 37 earthenware pharmacy pots.
Founded in 1700 by Charles de la Boutière, Baron of Chagny, the hospital today reveals the apothecary created in 1715, classified as a historical monument in 1910. Admire the original woodwork as well as the pilasters imitating marble topped with faux bronze capitals, the period furniture and drawers, the labelled glass bottles, the beautiful collection of 37 19th century Parisian earthenware pharmacy jars, and many other treasures.
