Adjacent to Chalon-sur-Saône, Champforgeuil is a small town on the move and it is in the main street that the restaurant Il Capriccio opened its doors in a charming place a stone's throw from the Thalie River. Filippo, alias Pippo with the accent of Bologna, after several seasons spent at Antipasti in Chalon, has created his own establishment. The products as well as the know-how come directly from his home region, Emilia Romagna, so it is truly sunshine that he puts into his pizzas and dishes. Salad meals, cooked pasta and pizzas are on the menu every day, with occasional specialities as well. If the recovery is recent, a good reputation has not been long in coming, it is always crowded, customers make the detour to come and taste the specialties of the house. The quality is there as well as the good mood of Pippo and his wife Simona. So, a piece of advice, book your table!
