Contrary to what its name suggests, this restaurant is not located at the Pordoi Pass, but in the heart of the village of Arabba. This mountain inn and restaurant with geraniums on the balconies and wainscoting everywhere is renowned for its excellent regional cuisine at reasonable prices. There are specialities with nettle, speck from the Alto Adige and other specialities in sauce that keep body and soul together with the cold. There are also excellent pizzas.

wir waren KEINE gäste im hotel, wir haben nur im restaurant zu abend gegessen.. das personal war teilweise sehr unfreundlich und auch der service nicht so wirklich gut.. dazu kommt, der gastraum ist zugestellt mit tischen, dadurch ist der durchgang für die kellner sehr eng und wir mussten ständig rutschen.. das einzig gute, das essen war schnell fertig und die auswahl auf der speisekarte war ziemlich groß..

Restaurant is not good. We eat very bad carbonara, Pizza was only ok, very Salty. Staff was not so friendly... better go somewhere else.

Ho recentemente cenato in questo locale. Menù piuttosto ampio e variegato, ho scelto la minestra di Goulasch. Il piatto è certamente abbondante ma risulta essere molto saporito e con il minimo essenziale di carne. Era più un brodo dal sapore di goulasch. Non mi aspetto di trovare il piatto colmo di carne ma allo stesso tempo nemmeno un brodo. Decido quindi di prendere un tagliere di affettati misti: buono ma direi un po’ troppo per una sola persona.
Chi era con me ha cenato con tris di canederli buoni e goulasch con patate.
Locale tipico montanaro con prezzi direi ottimi.
