Le Bistrot du marché opened in 2010. Jean-François Segura, the Chef, managed La Patte-d'oie in Davayé during seven years before settling in Charnay-the- Mason, near the church and the place where the market is held. The restaurant, renovated and extended, has two elegant dining rooms and a terrace where patrons come to sit for a coffee break or a good meal. The welcome is warm and the dishes on the menu or à la carte are very tasty. The burger with goat cheese and honey is excellent and the gourmet coffee is superb! With a good quality/price ratio, Le Bistrot du Marché deserves its name: it serves fresh quality produce in a friendly atmosphere. An address to test.
