FAÏENCERIE DE CHAROLLES
It was in 1844 that Hippolyte Prost, a child of the country, founded the Faïencerie de Charolles. He created a style of earthenware specific to Charolles. The pieces of this particular collection are still very much in demand, and are exhibited in many museums in France. With 25 years of experience in the company, in July 1995, Edith and Benoît Terrier took over the Faïencerie de Charolles. Then, in 2017, Jean-Luc Farina and Estelle Farina bought the Faïencerie de Charolles. Combining past and present, they perpetuate the know-how, re-edit old patterns and shapes and create new, resolutely contemporary objects; the lines are geometric, almost austere; the volumes are oversized: the collections assert a taste for timeless luxury.
