Although the site itself is very small, it is most notable for a large stucco frieze 16.5 metres long, extremely well preserved in the base of the Templo de los Reyes. The cosmovision of the ancient Maya is revealed and the view becomes lost as the eye wanders through the details of the fantastic scenes depicted. To visit after your expedition to the site of Calakmul, whose access road is only a few kilometers away.
